Around 250 agents from the UK and beyond enjoyed a fabulous Ingress Mission Day under a spring sun in London last Saturday 🇬🇧

Exploring the city via 24 unique missions and a gorgeous graffiti banner, they've seen an intriguing mix of old and new, of a bustling metropolis and relaxing oases of city parks ☀️

William, the Hungarian deer that is very dear to us, made an appearance and hyped all the Resistance agents to join him in Budapest on 15th June 🦌

Lucky few managed to get their hands on a beautiful swag pack with a shiny pin, a rainbow holografic sticker and other fancy items 😍

25 locations all over Asia and Pacific for Shard Skirmish events on the 27th April have just been revealed 😱

Each of these battles is invaluable to the Resistance and each scored Shard counts (13 Shards, each worth 0,5 point) toward the total season score 🤩

So grab your friends, claim those points and earn yourself the Anomaly Medal - battles start at 1600 local time and last for an hour - objective is to move each Shard at least 250 meters in 1 jump 💙

❕The Global Buried Memories link and field challenge starts TODAY at 16:00 UTC!

🏅 For the bronze medal, agents must earn 1000 points.

🏆 For the silver medal, agents must earn 10,000 points.

How to earn points:

⭐️Destroy a link: 1 point
⭐️Create a link: 2 points
⭐️Destroy a field: 4 points
⭐️Create a field: 4 points + bonus points depending on the MU of the field and number of agents (up to 3!) who participate in making it.

‼️ ‼️ An additional 200 points for the Buried Memories Anomaly season will be awarded proportionally to the factions according to the number of agents that have achieved one of the two Challenge Medals.

💥 The silver medal is worth 10x the value, so aim high agents!

Niantic has clarified that to combat cheating, as of Ingress 2.138, Ingress has required Android devices to support Google Play Integrity's BASIC_INTEGRITY and DEVICE_INTEGRITY checks.

🔹This has been causing many Agents receiving errors launching Scanner, or unable to download game from Google Play for the past few days.

Niantic also announce starting 2024/05/27, Android devices will need to pass GPI’s STRONG_INTEGRITY to launch Ingress 2.140+.

❗️Strong Integrity require strict hardware based device security attestation, and is nearly impossible to circumvent on an unlocked bootloader, or custom ROM device.❗️
🔹Strong Integrity can fail for various reasons on unmodified devices, including downloading game from anywhere other than Google Play.

Buried Memories: Global Link and Field Op!

Medal Requirements
🏅Bronze: 1.000 points
🏆Silver: 10.000 points

A new metric, Buried Memories Global OP Points,’ will show up in Agents’ profiles, and Agents can earn points with:
🔵Destroy Link: 1 Point
🔵Create Link: 2 Points
🔵Destroy Field: 4 Points
🔵Create Field: 4 Points + Bonus Points

Bonus Points are calculated using Field MU and Agents involved in creating the Fields (CM = Collaboration Multiplier)
🔵 40.000 MU: 5 Points x CM

Collaboration Multiplier is determined in Agents who Link to create the Fields:
🔵2 Agents = 2 CM
🔵3 Agents = 3 CM

All Agents who contributed a Link to the field will receive field and bonus points

200 Season Points (Anomaly series scoring) will be allocated proportionally based on the number of Agents who earn one of the two Season Operation Medals, and Silver Tier Agents will have 10 x value.
